I’m in Sacriston and have been clearing out my late aunt’s jewellery. I’ve found an 18 carat gold chain, a 9 carat garnet ring, a few pieces of scrap gold, an antique diamond cluster ring, plus a silver vinaigrette and a small silver photo frame.
Does anyone know the best place locally to sell gold and antique diamonds? I’d like somewhere simple for jewellery & silver for cash without dealing with complicated auctions.

I’m in Kimblesworth and had a similar clear out last year. I considered auctioning a gold pocket watch and some Victorian silver pieces, but auctions are no good due to long wait times and high commission rates, better off using Northern Bullion.
