- A collection of paperback novels and text books.
- Kitchen appliances, including a kettle, toaster, and a washing machine and a Bosch under counter fridge.
- Four boxes of bric a brac, such as glassware, ornaments, and paperweights.
- A box of old toys and puzzles from the loft.
- Garden tools, including a lawnmower, a spade, and a rake.
- Several large bags of clothing and shoes.
- A vacuum cleaner and other small household items.
House Clearance Overview
Our Newcastle house clearance team arrived at the property early in the morning and began by separating items for donation from those that needed to be recycled. We decided to start with a charity load first. Each room was carefully emptied, ensuring that anything reusable was packed on to the van for a local charity in Gosforth.
The dining table, chairs, and beds were in good condition, so these were transported to a community organization to help families in need. The collection of novels, toys, and puzzles from the loft was also boxed and donated to a local charity shop.
Kitchen appliances, such as the kettle and washing machine, were tested to ensure they were operational before being sent to charity also. Clothing and shoes were packed into bags and delivered to donation centers, while damaged or unusable items were responsibly recycled at a licensed recycling center.
In the garden, the shed was cleared of tools and equipment, which were either donated or recycled as appropriate. There was more items for charity than we had realized, there was one and a half loads went to charity and one to the tip.
The team worked efficiently to ensure the house, loft, and shed were completely emptied and ready for the next steps.
