Customer Requirements For The Bereavement House Clearance In Edinburgh
“Hello, I’m seeking a house clearance service for my late father’s three-bedroom flat in Edinburgh. He passed away recently, and we need the property cleared so we can put it on the market. This includes a small attic space and a few items in a communal storage area. It’s been a difficult time and my mom will be present, so we’re hoping for a professional and respectful team to handle this for us. Thank you – Sarah.”
Edinburgh Bereavement House Clearance Contents Overview
The flat contained a mix of personal belongings and furniture, including:
- A leather three-piece suite consisting of a sofa and two armchairs.
- A solid oak dining table with six chairs.
- Two double beds with bedding and a single guest bed.
- A large wardrobe and two smaller bedside tables.
- Several shelves filled with books, including classic novels and a few rare editions.
- Framed family photographs and sentimental ornaments.
- Kitchen appliances, such as a washing machine, a fridge, and a microwave.
- A collection of gardening tools and a few potted plants from the communal storage area.
- Several black bags of clothing, along with a box of shoes.
- Two old suitcases, one containing personal letters and documents.
- A few small electrical items, such as a radio and a table lamp.
The House Clearance Overview
Our bereavement house clearance team arrived promptly, understanding the sensitive nature of the situation. The process began with a respectful walkthrough of the property with Sarah to ensure they knew which sentimental items were to be set aside.
The team carefully boxed family photographs, personal letters, and rare books to remain in he property for Sarah’s family to collect after the clearance. Items that were in good condition, such as the dining table, chairs, and sofa, were donated to a local charity. Clothing and shoes were bagged and sent to a donation center as well.
The kitchen appliances were inspected and found to be in working order, so they were also donated. Items that could not be reused, such as old and damaged furniture, were transported to a licensed recycling facility.
The attic and communal storage area were cleared last, ensuring that no items were overlooked. The team took extra care to leave the flat clean and ready for the next steps in the sale process.
