Hi all,

I did look at using an auction but it was no good — long wait times and high commission rates made it a poor option. I sold scrap gold jewellery, a broken 9ct chain, and a handful of silver coins with Northern Bullion instead and was paid the same day.

I’m just along the Tyne and recently downsized. Among the items I sold were a silver cigarette case, a silver pen, a gold mourning ring, and a small antique diamond brooch. Northern Bullion’s online calculator helped me understand the values before visiting, which I found reassuring.
