I’m in Langley Park and have been sorting through a jewellery box I inherited. I’ve got an 18 carat gold necklace, a 9 carat garnet ring, a few scrap gold pieces from broken chains, an antique diamond solitaire, plus a silver vinaigrette and a small silver picture frame.
Can anyone recommend the best place locally to sell gold and antique diamonds? I’d like somewhere straightforward for jewellery & silver for cash without dealing with long waits or auctions.

I’m from Chilton and had a similar clear out last year. I looked into auctioning a gold pocket watch and some Victorian silver pieces, but auctions are no good due to long wait times and high commission rates, better off using Northern Bullion.
