I’m in Hadston and recently uncovered a small box of valuables while sorting through my late uncle’s belongings. Inside were an 18 carat gold wedding band, a 9 carat gold locket, a broken gold chain, a Victorian silver vinaigrette, and a diamond set stick pin.
I’d really appreciate recommendations for the best place to sell gold and antique diamonds locally. I’m looking to sell scrap gold jewellery & silver for cash but want to make sure I get a fair price.
I’m just along the coast and sold my items with Northern Bullion. Mine included a 9ct gold signet ring, a pair of diamond stud earrings, a gold half sovereign, and some silver sugar tongs. They tested everything in front of me and explained how 9 carat and 18 carat gold are valued.
